From basic mechanisms to clinical applications
Welcome to the 1st Medical Epigenetics Symposium in Freiburg, Germany.
The Collaborative Research Centre 992 "Medical Epigenetics" is a research consortium, that conducts epigenetic research with a translational focus. Teams from the University and the University Medical Centre, as well as from the Max-Planck-Institute of Immunobiology and Epigenetics are collaborating in projects ranging from basic research to clinical evaluation of novel therapeutic concepts.
The CRC now invites you to its 1st Symposium on Medical Epigentics which will take place in Freiburg from April 7th to April 9th 2014.
The symposium covers the following topics:
- Session I: Epigenetic Mechanisms
- Session II: Epigenetics in Hematology
- Session III: Epigenetic Drug Discovery
- Session IV: Epigenetics of Solid Tumors
- Session V: Epigenetics in Physiology and Disease
The conference will start on Monday, April 7th at 15:00 to allow international travel on the day.
There are 27 invited speakers, two key-note presentations and several talks selected from submitted abstracts.
The symposium will close on Wednesday, April 9th at 17:30.
