Graduate Program

The aim of the integrated research training group (IRTG) Medical Epigenetics is to provide a structural framework that supports the scientific education of doctoral students within the Collaborative Research Centre 992.

The IRTG fosters a broad scientific education of the PhD candidates. With its research focus on epigenetics and the width of research topics spanning from molecular biology over genome-wide profiling and drug discovery to the clinic, a unique structure with high levels of synergy has been established. The IRTG offers students thesis committees, a lecture/seminar programme in epigenetics, bioinformatics training and rotations between basic and clinical sciences labs.
